This course is tailored mainly to equip students with hands-on skills in Microsoft Excel for coping with practical problems in the areas of accounting and finance. Through this course, students will learn how to analyze portfolios, equities, derivatives, etc. on spreadsheets using built-in Excel functions. This course features providing the participants with a chance to learn VBA coding and solve real-world problems more efficiently using their own VBA codes. This course is particularly for those who have studied elementary statistics and finance theories. However, those who are not confident in these subjects need not worry about this. We will review all relevant models when exploring the world of Excel and VBA.
